There are Mermaids all over the city. (Like the different painted buffalo at home.) They are all decorated differently. Its kinda fun. Every time we see a new one, Kenyon asks why are there mermaids everywhere we go, don't these people know they are not real!!! Its kinda funny, but getting old.
There is a fun petting zoo, The kids loved the Pigs.
Bald eagle in the back. sorry you can't see it very well, but the boys are cute.
lazy lions, They were Kenyons favorite.
The Norfolk zoo is small, but only 5 blocks north of us. We went there on MLK day. Kenny and Kenyon were out of school, and it was a nice day. It was one of our frist adventures in our new town.
