Virginia Snow

On Friday night we had a major snow storm. We received about 6in of snow, and for Virginia that is a ton. They have not had this much snow in one Storm since 1978. Everything was closed on Sat, Sun and Monday, and we will see what happens with Tue. The roads are covered in about a 4in sheet of ice, it is crazy. But we have been enjoying it. Saturday we played Wii, watched movies, played in the snow and ate tons. Sunday church was canceled so we did the same. And tomorrow we will see what we can come up with. Hopefully everything thaws out soon so we can get back to normal life, I am almost out of milk!!!

Norfolk Zoo

There are Mermaids all over the city. (Like the different painted buffalo at home.) They are all decorated differently. Its kinda fun. Every time we see a new one, Kenyon asks why are there mermaids everywhere we go, don't these people know they are not real!!! Its kinda funny, but getting old.

The Norfolk zoo is small, but only 5 blocks north of us. We went there on MLK day. Kenny and Kenyon were out of school, and it was a nice day. It was one of our frist adventures in our new town.

New table

Kenny and his brother Adam moved us out here with a 6 x 12 foot Uhaul trailer. So a lot of our stuff had to be left behind. Our kitchen table and chairs did not make it, so for the past few weeks we have been eating where ever in the house. and it has been driving me crazy.

I found a new table this past week, and today was our first time trying it out. I love it. I had to get something small because we do not have much room. And instead of chairs it has bar stools, so it can go up to the bar or the table. I love when I find stuff with more than one use.

White Coat Ceremony

Kennys white coat ceremony was on Friday night. He received his white coat, and said the PA oath. I was wrestling the kids the majority of the program, but I did hear the Dean's say that 1300 students applied to the EVMS PA program this year and they only admitted 53. I am so proud of Kenny. He has worked so hard to get here, and I think he is loving school.


















This is Kennys friend Paul. He is in the program with Kenny, and I know they are having a good time. The drive to school together, and we had Paul and his wife Kira over for Cafe Rio Sweet pork on Saturday. They are great people to hang out with. They are from North Carolina.

Norfolk

We have just moved to Norfolk Va. And we love it. We are excited to start our new adventure. The city is nice, the beach is Beautiful, and right now we are freezing. The humidity here is really cold.
